How We Support Our Community

The Southern Maryland Local Homelessness Coalition coordinates housing and supportive services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Through regional collaboration and structured systems, we ensure that assistance is delivered fairly, efficiently, and based on individual needs.

Our programs are designed to provide immediate support while creating long-term pathways to housing stability.

We utilize a coordinated entry system to streamline access to housing resources and services. This process ensures that individuals and families can connect with the appropriate programs based on their needs. Through a centralized approach, we assess client needs and prioritize housing placements based on vulnerability and service eligibility.
