We utilize a coordinated entry system to streamline access to housing resources and services. This process ensures that individuals and families can connect with the appropriate programs based on their needs. Through a centralized approach, we assess client needs and prioritize housing placements based on vulnerability and service eligibility.
Permanent Supportive Housing

To provide long-term stability, So MD LHC offers permanent supportive housing options for those with disabilities and chronically homeless. This program combines affordable housing with supportive services to help residents maintain their housing and improve their quality of life.
Rapid Rehousing

Our rapid rehousing program is designed to quickly provide financial assistance and housing support to individuals and families recently experiencing homelessness. We operate a network of emergency shelters that offer safe accommodations for individuals and families in crisis. Our shelters provide essential services, including meals, hygiene facilities, and access to case management support, helping clients transition to stable housing. Prevention Services
If you live in Southern Maryland and are facing eviction or
losing permanent housing, assistance may be available to cover
rental arrears, security deposits, application fees or move-in costs.
Who Qualifies
You may qualify if your annual household income is at or below
30% of the Area Median Income (AMI) for your county.
